Terms

Last updated 8 September 2026

The short agreement between you and us about using this app. It is written to be read once and understood.

What this is

A budgeting app. It records what you tell it and adds it up. It is not financial advice, and it does not talk to your bank.

The numbers it shows are the numbers you entered. We do not check them, and decisions you take from them are yours.

Using it without an account

You may use the app on your own phone with no account at all, for as long as you like within the free month described below. Nothing is shared, and nothing is required of you.

The free month, and what happens after

Every new budget gets a month of full use, counted from when it was set up.

When the month ends, everything you recorded stays visible and can still be exported — taking your own data with you is never a paid feature. Adding and changing needs a subscription.

Deleting and reinstalling the app does not start a new free month on iOS. On Android it may, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are taken by Stripe, under their terms. Payment, renewal and cancellation are handled there, not by us, and we never see your card details. If the app is ever sold through Apple’s or Google’s store, subscriptions bought there run under that store’s terms instead.

Plans differ only in how many people share one budget. Nothing you have recorded is ever locked behind a larger plan.

Moving to a smaller plan does not remove anyone. The person who set the family up chooses who keeps access, and the rest are set aside — their name stays on every entry they added, and they come back when there is room.

Families

Whoever creates a budget owns it. They can invite people, decide what each may do, and end the budget. That last one takes everyone’s access with it, and the app says so plainly before it happens.

An invitation is good for a week and works once, for the address it was sent to.

Anyone you invite can see everything in that budget. Invite accordingly.

What we ask of you

Do not use the app to break the law, and do not try to reach other people’s budgets. That is the whole list.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. Delete the app, or delete the budget from inside it — the second one removes the data, and how that works is described in the privacy page.

We can end your access if you use the app to attack the service or other people’s data. We would tell you why.

What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it correct and available, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or never contain a mistake.

Keep your own backups. The export exists for exactly this, and it takes one tap.

Nothing here limits rights you have by law where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, the app tells you before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page changes with them.
